Poor management from the top down. Contracts aren't locked down in time to maintain a steady workload, creating a tense environment wondering if layoffs are on the horizon for all the mechanics on the floor. It took government intervention for AAR to pay mechanics the industry standard minimum. Bare minimum is all they do. Decent paying job. But I honestly wouldn't recommend working here because of how bad upper management is. I would know personally because of the fact that I got wrongfully terminated in a very unfair way on June 9. My formal boss who was my supervisor is also a terrible supervisor from the department of tooling. The thing is, when I got terminated it was becuase of another female employee that got me in trouble and knew that she could get the supervisor to be on her side (May 31, 2025). nice atmosphere, sleek facilities make the wait enjoyable. staff is friendly and knowledgeable, great place for aircraft services.

Unprofessional hiring process. Had an interview years ago May 2019. They didn't call me back until September 2019. Had an interview April 2024....they called rescheduled last minute. Then got rescheduled for a virtual interview. They called and rescheduled again.
