The staff in this particular office do not care about their patients. I schedule my appointment from the office in Annapolis and I thought everything was fine. Showed up for my appointment and I was told the appointment was canceled by the doctor assistant. I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY NOTIFICATION OF THE CANCELLATION. After leaving and calling the appointment line again, I was told that the office staff left a message on my phone. NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT ON MY PHONE. My chart included prior mental health diagnoses. During the visit with Jill, I felt my concerns were minimized. Mental health history should be part of comprehensive care, not a reason to shortcut diagnostics. I left feeling unheard.

Jill's bedside manner felt dismissive. When I mentioned my hobbies (runners’ hand drills and long-distance cycling), she actually laughed in a way that made me feel belittled. Clinicians should validate patients’ lives and activities — that reaction undermined trust and made it hard to continue the visit productively.
