My chart included prior mental health diagnoses. During the visit with Jill, I felt my concerns were minimized. Mental health history should be part of comprehensive care, not a reason to shortcut diagnostics. I left feeling unheard.
Jill's bedside manner felt dismissive. When I mentioned my hobbies (runners’ hand drills and long-distance cycling), she actually laughed in a way that made me feel belittled. Clinicians should validate patients’ lives and activities — that reaction undermined trust and made it hard to continue the visit productively.
I was highly impressed with Luminous Orthopedics. The reason why is because #1 I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. Plus, when I was greeted by the staff, they were very friendly and fast. #2 My first person that I met was so very nice and very compassionate, Besides being very efficient, but Sierra made me smile.
