I brought my truck to AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care because the transmission was slipping in and out. They kept it for two days and charged me about $200 to diagnose the issue. I was told the transmission was fine, and that the real problem was a “kink” in the exhaust that was causing poor engine performance. Trusting their diagnosis, I took the truck back and even started moving forward with replacing the exhaust based on their recommendation. The customer service, and transparency about costs and timing were above and beyond. The technical service was thorough and exhaustive with communication daily about options and considerations. I would recommend this location and go back myself.
This place is a junk yard. All the people here are rude , prices too high!!!! The older dude is very sketchy... don't take your car here ....
This Rockville AAMCO location is very accommodating to one’s needs. The owner/manager, Easton is very knowledgeable and helpful with your car service. He actually cares about the customer and goes out of his way to assist your needs. I highly recommend. I will definitely be returning for Auto services.
The transmission on my 2015 Legacy died and left my teen stranded. While the repair was going to be too much based on the overall value of the car, I can't say enough good things about this AAMCO location. Their staff is very professional, and Easton in particular went above and beyond rechecking some things that I had just had repaired at another mechanic. But which failed again.
