I had a great experience with the AAMCO in Manassas. The vehicle went in for transmission work, and I also mentioned that the engine didn’t seem to be running smoothly. They checked it out and discovered a spark plug was loose and almost ready to come out. They took care of that issue and replaced the spark plug wires as well. Honest, thorough, and very professional service. I really appreciate the way they handled everything and would definitely recommend them!
Brought my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder to them for a CVT replacement, and not only did they replace it with a re-manufactured one to ensure the new one wouldn't have issues, but they also replaced the seals on my transfer case and repaired a crack on the intake manifold at no extra cost. In addition, the staff were friendly, responsive, and helpful, making sure I understood what was currently being worked on, as well as roughly how long it should take and why. This place is horrible the transmission was replaced spring of 2025. Then 3 months after picking up had to have it towed back to the shop and had been there ever since. There has not been any communication with the staff stating what the progress is. To date the vehicle is still at the shop. When or how will this vehicle be completed??? This is a Nissan pathfinder that a $9,000.00 payment was paid in full when it was picked up. I question the staff and the warranty.
They did a great job on my Infiniti QX70. The transmission had to be replaced, I took it to another shop previously, and the initial shop said it was too complicated, they would not touch it. So I had it towed to Aamco, and they worked with my insurance to diagnose the issue, and order the transmission, which took a week to be installed. They took another week to program, and test the new part, to ensure there were no issues.
