My parents purchased a transmission from this Aamco for $6000 for their Nissan. It never worked right, stranding my mother and having to be towed several times. The shop kept the car for months at a time, blamed another Aamco that went out of business for supplying a faulty transmission, and said they replaced it again - same result. I had a great experience with the AAMCO in Manassas. The vehicle went in for transmission work, and I also mentioned that the engine didn’t seem to be running smoothly. They checked it out and discovered a spark plug was loose and almost ready to come out. They took care of that issue and replaced the spark plug wires as well. Honest, thorough, and very professional service. I really appreciate the way they handled everything and would definitely recommend them!
Brought my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder to them for a CVT replacement, and not only did they replace it with a re-manufactured one to ensure the new one wouldn't have issues, but they also replaced the seals on my transfer case and repaired a crack on the intake manifold at no extra cost. In addition, the staff were friendly, responsive, and helpful, making sure I understood what was currently being worked on, as well as roughly how long it should take and why.
