Terrible service, waited 5 months for repair/part availability. Found another repair shop that fixed/repaired vehicle in one week. AAMCO Owner demanded $500 down to order part, now will not refund the money after waiting this long. Tried to reason with him over the phone, has been rude and unwilling to listen to reason. Very unprofessional.
If you are ok being lied to, go here! Buckle up this is going to be kinda long. First, I have had my car for a few years and never got new brake pads so I took it to BrakesPlus and they told me I need 1. All 4 brake pads 2. Front Struts 3. Front rotors 4. back rotors need refinishing. They quoted $1750. I like to do my due diligence so I called around and AAMCO said "Don't tell brakesplus, but I am going to beat their quote.. we will do all of that for $1450, and include a brake fluid flush. They did an OK job at fixing the problem and seemed to charge a reasonable price, but they are terrible at communicating. Even though I was promised several call backs on the progress with my car I had to call them. And when I did, I was made to feel like I was a bother other than a concerned paying customer. Man I don’t even know where to start … David was absolutely expectational during the whole process with fixing my transmission after several attempts with other company’s that assured that they would be able to get it done. David not only assured me he would get my warranty company to agree to fix and approve the job he gave me his personal vehicle well it was being completed that’s right you heard me his VERY OWN PERSONAL CAR !!!!!! I visited this AAMCO location at the end of May for a transmission service. Shortly after my visit, I noticed that certain personal items were missing from my vehicle. I filed a report regarding the missing items at that time, and I attempted to resolve the matter professionally.
