They did an OK job at fixing the problem and seemed to charge a reasonable price, but they are terrible at communicating. Even though I was promised several call backs on the progress with my car I had to call them. And when I did, I was made to feel like I was a bother other than a concerned paying customer. Man I don’t even know where to start … David was absolutely expectational during the whole process with fixing my transmission after several attempts with other company’s that assured that they would be able to get it done. I visited this AAMCO location at the end of May for a transmission service. Shortly after my visit, I noticed that certain personal items were missing from my vehicle. I filed a report regarding the missing items at that time, and I attempted to resolve the matter professionally. David, the manager, is extremely rude. No communication from the staff when parts are on back order, no call back when promised, no estimate sheet has been provided for the work. They've had my wife's truck for 2 weeks and no communication as to why. When asked, major attitude given. Unprofessional and we will never use again.
Took my car in three weeks ago. First they told me it was the Mass Airflow Sensor, then a week later was told it was the Intake Mainfold. All in all they had my car for three weeks. I picked my car up at 5pm on a Monday 05/19/25 by next morning check engine light was on. Opened the hood to find a bottle cap in the EGR valve hose. Went back up today 05/21/25, David the manager was very rude and unprofessional. Grabbed bottle top and would not give back when asked for it back.
