Took my '95 Mercedes Benz S420 in for transmission work, they did a great job. Even dropped me off and picked me up at my house so I didn't have to wait. Polite, prompt, transmissions aren't ever cheap so I can't vouch for that but all in all I am very satisfied.
I took my car ther expecting an expensive transmission replacement and the guys checked my car out at no charge and found that it only needed a minor repair! Priceless! you cant put a price on Honesty and Integrity!

I took my car to Amco Transmission on Lee Hwy because it seemed my transmission had went out. They were nice at first explaining they would look at the car and tow it at no charge! I THOUGHT this was a good idea..it was NOT! They looked at the car and advised me it would be $1,400 to repair my transmission. I agreed and the worked on my car for 1 week. My wife and I have been going to this aamco for a long time now because of the great service and reasonable estimates that make it a no brainer for us. We used to have our cars serviced at the dealer but when showcase chevrolet started to over recommend services and then actualloy went out of business, we decided to try a new place. i had two transmissions rebuilt by this company. what i was quoted was the price i paid. no surprises. the first transmission was great. The second one has a issue a few days after i picked it up. They said they were sorry and please bring it back and they would make it right. Well i have to say they did exactly what they said . When i picked it up the second time it was right and i was well pleased. I will tell everybody i know about this company.
My car's check engine light was on and it wouldn't go very fast in drive. I was sure my transmission was toast! I took it to AAMCO in bedford and they scanned it for free - saying it was just a sensor. They fixed it that afternoon and my car works great! Thanks for being so honest.
