I would give 0 stars if I could. My dad had his transmission rebuilt here in 2013 and bought the "Heavy Duty" torque converter. After installing the transmission the truck would die as soon as it was put in reverse. We went through the truck and fixed all the small things that we could think of that could cause this problem. We finally took the Truck back to AAMCO, they pulled the transmission and the new torque converter was bad. Great company, Great work, definitely my top choice for transmissions. Something else came up after my transmission was fixed and the owner came to my place (we live in the same town) scanned my truck, drove it around and said he'd drive it to work in the morning and fix it and bring it back after work that day. No other company would do that, don't go anywhere else. GO HERE.
Went to another shop and was told I needed a whole new transmission. Went for a second opinion here and after checking it out and scanning it and taking it for a test drive he figured out it was just a small sensor throwing a code. He even had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes!!! Honest, reliable, and will definitely use him if needed in the future!!!
