Exceptional service This AAMCO of Charlotte is EXCEPTIONAL. I have worked with other locations, with different owners, and they do not measure up to this location. The communication is great. They diagnose the problem immediately, and fix it in a timely fashion. They even backed the warranty with another AAMCO. They give great service, are trustworthy, and I absolutely recommend them to others. Specifically, Mike and Billy do a great job.
Courteous and helpful. I've been with AAMCO Transmissions since 1985. I purchased an '83 Chevvy truck that was new, and when the warranty on my transmission expired, I took it to AAMCO. Mike and them treated me real nice and they put in a 350 turbo transmission with a lifetime warranty on it. I take it in for a manual recheck every year. I've only had to replace it once in 30 years. Everything's been working fine, and Mike has always been courteous and helpful every time I go.
They will get it right the first time! Aamco of Charlotte is always timely. I've had two cars fixed there over the last three years. Billy, the Service Rep there, is really good at communicating issues. They are always able to fix things in a timely fashion, if not, they'll provide rides to and from work or home, which is great for someone with a busy work schedule. True, honest mechanics. I worked with Billy and Mike from AAMCO of Charlotte. First, I spoke with Billy, and he took the time out of his schedule to really explain the entire process of what rebuilding my transmission would entail. It didn't feel like I was talking to a shady mechanic. He gave his honest opinion, which I truly appreciated, because it made me feel comfortable making the decision to let them fix my car. Great guys to work with! The people at AAMCO of Charlotte are very friendly and knowledgeable. They kept me informed. I got my transmission rebuilt and they even worked on the payment plan with me. They've also rebuilt my Jaguar. I would recommend AAMCO of Charlotte. I dealt with another AAMCO before, and they referred me to this AAMCO. Good work but high prices. I think everything at Aamco of Charlotte was outstanding as far as the service went. They told me exactly what was wrong, and it wasn't the transmission, which I originally thought it was. It turned out to be my ignition. They fixed it, but in the end, I felt like the parts and labor were very highly priced. Everything else was great, they picked me up and dropped me off while they worked on my car and everyone was very nice and they did a good job.
They do good work. Aamco of Charlotte did a transmission replacement for me. The price they were charging was low initially but then it turned out to be higher than what I expected. It also took longer than I expected. They provide a good service but it takes a little longer sometimes because they are so busy and because they do good work.
Timely information and it was a great experience We took my son's car to AAMCO of Charlotte. Mike took a look at the car and informed me of what his opinion was. They did a total rebuilt on the transmission. Mike was very helpful and honest with me and he walked me through the process like he was fixing the car for his own child.
Everything turned out well. AAMCO Transmissions of Charlotte has good customer service and cordial staff.
