So far every person ever recommended going to aamco got hosed. They only have a 90-day warranty and the transmissions appear to be very low quality and start to degrade within a year of having aamco do work. I do not recommend aamco for any transmission service
The staff were professional, honest, and took the time to clearly explain what was wrong with my car before doing any work. They didn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs and the pricing was fair compared to other places I checked. Repairs were done quickly and completed quicker than expected.
Definitely better than other shops in OC and Lake Forest, they were able to identify the problem very quickly and I will definitely be back here to have my car serviced.
Service was fantastic! My car brakes were clunking. Brought it in added a request for trunk gas struts. Done next day. Prices extremely reasonable. No upselling. BTW my rotors were warped.
