I had a long, drawn out and ridiculous experience with this AAMCO. I was in contact with the AAMCO CEO, Head of Customer Relations and everyone of relevance below them. Their service writer Kevin, continuously lied to all of us and mislead me on work progress and completion dates to the effect that It cost me over $600 of UNNECESSARY expenses an UNNECESSARY 2000 mile round trip along with several UNNECESSARY days away from work to resolve! transmission repair was done quick and at a very fair price also noticed they do all auto repairs will be back for all my car needs.
I took my 2003 VW convertible bug in because the transmission was slipping. The guys noted this was a recall by VW and the problem should be cover by the recall warranty. I appreciated their advice.
