Best experience I have ever had with any mechanic. I have brought my car to this location multiple times and every time they are kind, honest and extremely helpful. As a women it can be extremely difficult to find a mechanic that doesn’t try to pull one over on you and use your lack of knowledge to their gain and advantage. Total rip off, lied bout the work that needed to get done to get me to pay more money. The people there was rude wouldn’t hand over paper work or nothing, honestly will never go back and would not recommend this place to a single person. Lesson learned to do better research on a place before taking it there
This place is an absolute joke. If I could give negative stars, I would. I brought my truck to AAMCO in March 2023, over 2.5 years ago to have the 48RE transmission rebuilt in my Dodge Ram — and it has been a complete disaster from day one. Since the so-called “rebuild,” the transmission has never worked right. I’ve had to return the truck over 30 times — yes, THIRTY — and it’s still not fixed. Shane at AAMCO in Corvallis went above and beyond taking care of my car and making sure it was in tip top shape before I got it back.. Before they even started on the transmission they did a full inspection of the car. They found some other things that needed to be fixed and actually saved me money in labour if I had not had it repaired when the transmission was replaced. Hats off to the AAMCO Team in Corvallis.
