I signed up for a storage unit here a couple months ago and in the process the storage facility was bought out by a larger company. Since then they have closed the onsite office and there is little oversight at the facility with a person coming from a Martinsburg office once a day to check on the facility during the week. Additionally it is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone as all calls are now directed to a call center nowhere near the facility with people that have no knowledge of the location or your unit. They raise rates with no warning and within the first few months of the lease.
The experience has been really smooth! I am using a unit temporarily while moving states. The office staff was very helpful and the office itself was very organized and pleasant to be in. The units themselves are very clean, easy to navigate and have additional equipment that made unloading convenient. I also received a discount offer upon signing up which was very nice. Moving is a stressful experience and storing with Valley helped alleviate some of that stress which I greatly appreciated.
