You can really trust this AAA Car Care Center – I have been taking our vehicles to this location of AAA for the last three years. Our family has four different vehicles - all different makes and models. So you can imagine how frequently we visit the Avent Ferry AAA - it's more than a dozen times per year for oil changes alone. Beware this place – This shop gives AAA a bad name. I was excited when I found them, close to my home, and wanted them to be my shop of choice. They have found a number of "expensive" problems that were not problems. I have an automotive background and find their behavior disgusting. Even if you do use them, they are expensive. Their quote for 2 major repairs were higher than Hendrick's Chevrolet. I think that puts things in perspective.
AAA STINKS! – Out of town on a Saturday, saw a motorcycle I liked, so I made a deal with a private party and bought the bike. I had a bill of sale and the signed title in my hand. After a 200 mile ride, and almost home, I broke down on the side of busy highway as the sun was starting to set. Everything I could have expected – I took my car to a dealership...they ran the diagnostic and told me the problem and the cost.....I called RJ Wheels, they were less than 1/3 of the price and were great to work with. I got the car back, properly repaired, when they told me I would and the owner stayed in touch during the whole process. Everyone that I have dealt with was extremely courteous and patient. AWESOME, I thank you all so much. I will skip the dealership from here on and go directly to the source.
Very Bad Experience with Them – My GF took her car to that place to fix the dip stick tube and replace fuel pump. They did it in a day and charged us $700 . My GF got her car back and drove for 2 days that the engine warning light went on again. We took it back to that place and they said that the fuel pump and filter had not been replaced. They need to do it again for another $700. I was really unhappy about this but still left the car there. When I got the car today the bottom edges on both sides were damaged. BEST AUTO REPAIR I HAVE BEEN TO! – I liked going to R J Wheels--they do what they say they will do and that’s important to me. Five star service at reasonable rates and friendly staff.
Consistently great service – I've been taking my vehicles to RJ Wheels for over 20 years. I now own a company and we service all 4 of our fleet vehicles at RJ Wheels. I find their service quality to be excellent and their prices to be fair. They look for small problems before they become big problems and I appreciate their attention to my vehicles reliability.
Won't be going back. – I came in with a dead battery and they claimed I needed $1000 worth of "essential" work done to get the car going again. When I had my car towed elsewhere for a second opinion, my suspicions were confirmed...dead battery!
HUGE mistake on my part!!!! – by PO'd in Hilliard 04/29/2011 I was sucked into trying to manage this place, and the owner is nowhere short of a blithering idiot. My shop right around the corner was doing 150k a month in sales, because my customers know that they get only what they need and nothing they don't. He offered me HUGE money to come in and get the business up.
