AAA flat-out lied to me. They claimed my car battery was bad (it wasn’t), my wheel axle needed replacing (it didn’t), and my brakes were shot (they were fine) and quoted me nearly $5,000 for all of it. I can’t help but wonder if they thought I’d just believe them because I’m a young woman. An auto parts store confirmed the battery was perfectly fine, and the Ford dealership fixed the real problem for $1k with no axle or brake work needed. Stay far away from this place. I should have learned my lesson from the first time when I took them my van with a 1/4 tank of gas and picked it up with 0 miles left to get to a station. This time we took the car to get the AC - Evac and Recharged. The mechanic who replaced the AC did not have the adapter to do the evac. It was not a huge issue.
