Avoid at all costs. Their fancy automatic delivery meter malfunctioned, so we completely ran out of propane. We were quoted three days to receive a delivery. It's been six days, no delivery. We've spoken with 2 people via chat and 3 people via phone, none of whom are local to NM and all of whom are completely unhelpful. Really curious as to how this would have been handled if it were the middle of winter, because they don't seem to give a damn that we don't have hot water and if it were the winter we wouldn't have heat eithe... read more
Avoid AmeriGas like the plague!! They have the worst overseas customer service I have ever delt with. I have spent hours of my life on the phone with them getting no where, they send you in circles and make you wait on hold for hours. I'm trying to cancel my service with them which requires returning my leased 500gal tank which is underground! I asked about purchasing it and they quoted me more than double the market rate. This company sucks. They tried to bill me twice for abill that had been paid. They never responded to my letters and I did not get this matter settled until they sent my case to a collection agency and I provided proof that I had paid the bill and tried to solve the problem before they billed me again for a paid invoice. also, they charged me more than they had quoted me
Not sure why so many negative reviews. I drove in, they filled my tank, took my credit card and away I went. The man I dealt with was very friendly. Only cost me $23 for a 30# tank.
Poor service, over charge, don't care for long time customers.
