My daughter and I were travelling when our car broke down and we were towed and taken to the center. PSA: This is a picture of CV AXLE boot that was cut intentionally, so that AAA service center on Forest Drive in Columbia, SC, could charge to repair it. This boot on this Car was inspected by myself while doing a Brake Job, this was not there 2 weeks prior. If you look closely you can tell a sharp object was used to cut it. CV Axle boots do not tear at the top typically, they tear down in the groove at the weakest point. The car was only there for an OIL Change.
