Stay far away from this place. I was a regular customer came here every time I needed an oil change. I relied on them to tell me what needed to be fixed in my car. Last oil change I they told me my brake pads needed to be replaced so I listened and replaced them. Somehow they failed to tell me my tire rods were separated, and they failed to tell me my brake fluid needed changed after changing my brake pads. I made an appointment for Saturday Oct 11th 12pm ,on arriving everything was great with my oil change being done in no time it seems like , I left the Paxton location cause I had things to do , I drove a little over 10 miles and made it back home and noticed smoke and my check engine light comes on and I see smoke . Made an appointment for Monday morning, they kept the car for two days and never even looked at it! Would never return for ANY reason.
DO NOT TRUST THEIR PRICES!! My fuel pump went bad in my Honda Crv, a 1 hour job to replace, TOPS!… They told me the labor was cheap, but the part was $700+! Immediately looked the part up myself, bought it same day for $60. Coming from a multi year AAA member, it’s sad they try to upcharge a part by that much. Larry is who I spoke with, immediately tried taking “$100” off like that’s any better for a $60 part. Weigh your options and do not trust these guys. I have been a Bob Sumerel customer for years, and I know it's NOT Bob Sumerel anymore, but let me tell you about my BFF Larry and his team and how they really care. I had a flat tire and thought I just needed a patch, turns out my tires were dry rotting and I needed all new ones. Larry was concerned about my safety, and also helped work with me to find a solution I could afford to keep me safe and on the road.
