Came here for dinner. Overall, this is a decent place for sushi. There is a reasonable selection of sushi, and they are reasonably fresh. Portion wise, they are generally on the small side. Price wise, they are about average, but the total cost can add up pretty quick.
I dunno about all these old reviews, but if it was bad once, it's certainly gotten better. Fresh sushi with covers to keep dust/fingers off, it's been relatively busy whenever I came in (but not headache-busy!) The waiter is crazy friendly, and all the sushi looks like art. Very well done and a very great experience. Everything on the belt is fresh and cool, and never stays on too long. Gross. This place is disgusting! Take a look in their kitchen and bathrooms and see how gross it is. 100% not sanitary.
Used to love but not so much no more. I used to love this sushi restaurant. I honestly thought this was the best conveyer sushi place on the east side with the best prices. Pros: They offer a lunch special from 12-4pm at 1.50 per plate. Amazing price you cannot beat! The quality of the fish is 100x better than sushi land. Rainbow rolls for 1.50! Really good. – Great staff, good food, fantastic prices. The best place to go if you want to have good sushi at a price that won't practically burn your wallet. Great for the family and very good miso soup.

Decent cheap plates – I am a big fan of kaiten-zushi, or simply: conveyor belt sushi. The list of available plates wasn't huge. Unlike many of the other kaiten style sushi joints around the city where there are maybe 1-2 edible $1 plates, AA Sushi had a great selection of cheap (green) plates available. The McDonalds of sushi, awful food – I took my wife there for her first sushi experience as it was all we could find open on a Sunday afternoon, but the food was awful. The rolls were too loose and large to pickup, and the flavor seemed off. To top it all off I got sick about half an hour later! I'm sure there are decent conveyor belt sushi places around but this isn't one of them.
