My husband and I drove from Crystal River to St Pete to visit family one Sunday recently and our 2004 Jeep Liberty started making an odd noise when accelerating, which started just as we got into St Pete. My daughter looked to see if any garages were open on Sunday and we found D-Tran and they had good reviews so we called. They took our car in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than 2 hours. Brought my car there for diagnosis and repair because my car was loosing rpm intermittently when accelerating paid $60 for diagnosis and all together approximately $450. mt dashboard had 3 lean fuel bank codes. Mechanic misdiagnosed my vehicle, said it was a coil pack and said to replace 3/4 coil packs. Drove it a mile, check engine light came back on and car stalled again. Brought it back to mechanic he told me to buy miscellaneous components for the fuel system and said he would install the parts and see if that fixed it. ... read more
Fast, honest, and patient service. All at a most reasonable price. For me , there was a bit of a language barrier but they never gave up on diagnosing and repairing the multiple problems with my old Saab. Many other places would not have even touched it. I would not hesitate to go here again. Also, one of the few places open late and on weekends.
