I was grossly overcharged for a very straightforward HVAC repair. The issue involved replacing a basic starting component-something that costs no more than $10 at retail. Even accounting for labor, a fair high-end estimate would have been around $100-$150. Instead, I was charged $700 for this basic service. The heat wave kicked in at 105 degrees and of course my air conditioning stopped working at 7pm. I went on Angie's List and at 8:30pm Martha from A1R Kare Pros called me. She told me her technician, Jose, would be out at 6am the following morning. At 5:58 am, Jose was at my door step. Very knowledgeable and professional. I had a wonderful experience with this company. I've actually had them out three times. The first was to do the LADWP free inspection and new thermostat installation. And then early this summer to give a quote on a failing A/C. This week I had them install a whole new system. My wife and I were very pleased with the whole experience. 100 percent fraud company. They made a appointment with me june 10 and canceled it then they made a another appointment in june 13 . They called me in the morning and canceled it again. Manager was not available. Will not suggest to anyone. They will waste your time by making appointments and then cancel it in the last minute. Not professional!!
