This place is full of good energy!! Everybody is super chill. I personally go to Josh Rucker, also known as -The Gentleman-. The dude is fucking hilarious, down to earth. Not afraid to give his honest opinion if you have any questions, or if your unsure of something. His tattoos are phenomenal, his work area is sanitary, he is always keeping smile on my face! But most importantly, I love his work.
I went with a friend to get a tattoo on a whim and Mitch made an amazing design for me. I have been to a lot of places for tattoos and piercings and he was hands down the best artist I've had, not only in terms of the quality of work but his personality is incredible. He's genuinely one of the nicest guys I've ever met and he talked the entire time, sharing stories and asking me about myself. Overall, the best tattoo experience I've had.
I visited a lot of shops in the northland area to get my 4th tattoo and A1 was my top choice because everyone that works there does such amazing work and they are very personable compared to other shops in the area which can be stand offish. Mitch did my tattoo and I really appreciate his patience with me while I decided what I wanted and it turned out exactly how I imagined. I'm so happy with my new tattoo and overall experience! I'll definitely be going back! 😊
I had such a great first tattoo experience thanks to Shannon! She let me ask all the questions I needed to feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable. I will definitely go back to see her when I decide on another tattoo.
Walked in today with my best friend to get matching Xena tattoos on our feet. We immediately received a warm welcome with smiling faces. We told them what we wanted and they even had 2 separate artists do them so that we could have them done together. Shannon did mine and she was amazing! Very friendly and answered any questions I asked. My tattoo turned out just how I wanted and I will be back to start my half sleeve with Shannon asap!
