23 yrs ago I bought my first muscle car. A 1970 El Camino. A good friend of mine that I let drive was hitting some donuts and he hit the curb with the rear-end. One of my rear springs popped out. I was told by my mechanic to take it to A-1. The owner came out and greeted me. He was admiring the Elco. They fixed it and it was driving better than b4. I'm glad to see that yall are still in business for so long and still in Oakland in the same place. A-1 is one of Oakland's iconic business place.
Excellent service that t is not over-priced. A1 Spring is trustworthy. They give your car the care for which you pay. They actually can arch the springs for you if you need a custom fit. I like the fact that if it is work that is out of their area of expertise, they refer you to other high quality shops, that are more skilled at the work they don't do, instead of messing up your car trying to do things that are not their specialty. They are specialists and it shows in the quality of their work.
Spent years working on my car to get a certain "look" and the stance was an important part of the build. I told rueben I needed the suspension stiffer but could not change the stance at all. He did exactly that. If you need a craftsman and not just a parts changer A1 Spring is the place to go.
My baby is in good hands.... definitely A1 company name fits great customer service hands down
