I called about a Honda Pilot key replacement. My key works manually, the remote buttons do not. Honda dealer told me I need a new key after 15 years they just quit working. The man who answered the phone did not listen or communicate well. He tried to tell me my Honda ignition needs to be rebuilt. Really?! A1 Lock & Key, LLC came out to do 1 repair/replacement and a replacement/upgrade for me today. The work was excellent, clean, and everything I have come to expect. I do not even consider calling any other door/key/lock company before I check with A1. Residential or Business, their customer care is excellent. I became very familiar with A1 from 19986-2008 while they were one of the vendors for the Sheriff's Office. The owner is a phony. I got a moron that couldn't even make a key right, I got charged $166 for something that didn't even function properly. When I complained, the owner said he would make it right with me within 2 business days. It has now been 5 business days and he is not so much as return my message. So this is what I will do next time in this scenario. Go directly to the dealership and pay $50 for a key that works perfectly the first time. Either that or find a locksmith that is competent. They scheduled an appointment with my friend over the phone and then on the day/time of the appointment were incredibly rude over the phone when called over an hour late. My friend will NEVER call them, her family and friends won't either, furthermore we are telling EVERYONE we know to use anyone else! Customer service goes a long way....so does word of mouth!
