I was a patient back in 2017. I just received a bill from them last month (Sept. 2020) THREE YEARS AFTER THE FACT. I have not even been a patient of theirs for over a year now. Where has this bill been the whole time? Where was it when I was a patient? Where was it when I requested to pull my records from them a year ago? It is good they are closing. It's clear they can't keep on top of their finances on top of all the other issues they had.
Stay far, far away from this office. Last summer I thought I was getting my standard check-up. Turns out, I also received a bunch of extra tests that I not only didn't consent to, but I did not even KNOW were being done until I received the nearly $200 bill. The tests were not covered by my insurance, of course, and both my insurance company and the lab that ran the tests said I must take it up with AWHC. RecommendedDr. S and all of the medical staff are fantastic! They spend more time with you than has been typical of doctors in my prior experience. I never feel pressured into doing things that I am not comfortable with and feel like the overall care has been extremely comprehensive. I would absolutely recommend the Women's Healing Center for anyone looking for an OBGYN.
Stay far away from this office. They are highly negligent and unethical. Their quality of patient care is very poor. They are privately owned not regulated by anyone so their is no one to advocate for patients and they can do whatever they want. I can’t go into great detail because this is a public forum. The MA working when I was there for an appointment today was the rudest person I’d ever encountered!! Terrible service on so many levels. It’s sad because years ago it was a great place. 5 years ago it was 5 stars. After years of being a patient, today sealed the deal on me never going back! Go elsewhere.
Best place ever! Dr. Skorberg delivered both my girls almost 11 years ago. I travel a hour just to continue to see her every year. ❤
I was desperate when I went here! McKee Medical in Loveland had informed me that I needed a hysterectomy ASAP, but as a self-pay patient it would be $55,000 plus the surgeon who would run a robot would be $5500! Yeah, I really didn't have $60,000 just sitting around! Dr. Skorberg did the surgery at the Surgical center of Ft. Collins.
