Took my dog Eevee here and Elizabeth was amazing! My girl has never been to a groomer or in for a haircut yet because her undercoat is just coming in since coming up from the south last year when we rescued her. I wasn’t sure if she was a “haircut” dog or just a paw trim kind of gal. She needed a full butt trim and just overall cleanup. She did well with Elizabeth and came out very clean and beautiful! Kerry, the owner/operator is an extremely professional, knowledgeable and skilled groomer. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!
First time the groomer was almost three hours late, got one dog done, exactly how I didn’t want him cut. I brushed it off, because she was good to him. The second time, she just didn’t show. We called the location because we were worried and were given no solution except “she usually is punctual”. We paid more than what we were quoted because “the second dog will be less; that’s how they do discounts so they aren’t taken advantage of”. Now, I feel taken advantage. Steve the Pomeranian had his first haircut today! He is "summer funky" with an incredible new style...and loves it! I'm so glad we found A Walk in the Park!

They did a good job cutting my baby’s hair. But came home scratching like crazy. She hardly slept that night crying and scratching. To my surprise when I checked her,she was infested with fleas. Never in 3 years we had fleas. No doubt it was from there. Haircut good. Hygiene not so.

While we deeply sympathize with you. We take every precaution to prevent the spread of parasites and we sanitize all equipment between grooms. That said we would have gladly worked to help you had you called us. It is difficult to get an infestation of fleas from a visit to the groomer or the vet.while a flea can be picked up anywhere, it takes several weeks to see signs of infestation. Not a couple of days.
I am in love with this place. Such nice people!! They truly care about the dogs and will explain how to take care of the dogs coat. This was my first time there with my soft costed wheaten and I finally found a place that I know I can trust. Thank you thank you!!!!
