Asked for help after relapse and ended my night with confrontation and cops called. Joe Gobe. Is unacceptable as a house manager never mind program director. He is confrontational when he wakes slams dishes In the am. And trys to intimidate the elderly. I have seen him puff his chest and stand intimately towards a 65 year old man which is elderly abuse. Came in freshly sober not knowing what to expect. Both the staff and tenet’s immediate hospitality made me feel welcome. The structure and fellowship that are cultivated in this house is absolutely life changing. Recommend AVFH to anyone serious about getting better, they’ve helped change my life forever, thanks guys!
This Sober House is by far the best Sober House I have stayed in. I love how they integrate the 12 steps into part of living here. The house manager, and Director are really great guys always here to help and truly understand what we’re going through and how this disease works
