So we were having a wood stove installed and was advised to have the chimney cleaned first. So we called A-Tec to have this done . They showed up on time and asked me why we were having this cleaned. I guess the reason for the question was to see how much work they had to actually do. After I told them about the insert they told me there’s no reason to go on roof and do any type of cleaning or inspecting but STILL charged me full price. Very professional and responsive. They rebuilt our large stone chimney from the roof up two years ago. We had a small leak during the hard rain last week, and they came out right away and dealt with the problem, explaining everything very clearly. Unlike so many other contractors, they stand by their work 100 percent.
