There aren't words to describe just how amazing the food is. The Papperdelle Bolognese is the best pasta dish I have ever eaten. Unbelievable! Would plan another trip to New Paltz just to eat here again.
It's rare that I give a 5 star review. It's even more rare that I call a restaurant exceptional. But this place fits both. The octopus was the best I have had outside of Italy. The bronzino was so fresh it tasted like it just came off the boat. Service was excellent from Rose at the podium to my waiter who I wish I could remember his name. It was so good I made another reservation for Friday night! A must stop don't miss this place
Best place in New Paltz hands down. Beautiful wine list.. locally sourced menu items.Thumbs up Chef.I have a severe food allergy and they handled it with style. When ever we visit the Gunx this is our go to spot.
