It's always great for breakfast & lunch! We love it especially in the summer since they have outdoor seating.
This is a go-to breakfast place for my wife and I. I love their omelettes, which are always served with a helping of fruit on the side to lighten it up. They serve great coffee and sandwiches, too. The cupcakes are a lovely indulgence. Their outdoor area is always a pleasure, and the staff is always really nice!

We are now regulars here because of a friend's recommendation. I've tried a lot of the breakfast items, and a few things on the lunch & dinner menus. Everything has love in it. Almost everything is made from scratch. The pastries are amazing. And the staff is very welcoming. You feel like you're in your grandma's kitchen when you taste the amazing food. A must-see if you're in the north side.

After being gone a year from this shop, I was beyond excited to be returning for the atmosphere and the food. The Katie Cakes are the most amazing pancake experience I've ever had in my life, and they'll forever hold a special place in my stomach and "taste experiences." The only part that I had trouble with was my table because it was wobbly and uneven which made my water splash every time I went to put my elbows on the table. Other than that, I love this shop and will always make a visit here when I visit Chicago.
