Debbie was a fantastic host. We stayed in the Spruce House, which was clean and comfortable in a very nice, private setting.
I returned from a Gondwana Ecotours trip, Alaska: Northern Lights Adventure this past Sunday.. We stayed at the Taste of Alaska Lodge for the week. As you an see, I have rated this lodge 5 stars, Location is fantastic for Aurora viewing, Owners and staff are top notch and the food was great. The lodge. is very eclectic and charming. They are currently finishing up an 2nd lodge that looks great as well.
Top notch experience. Perfect location. Superb setting. Amazing Aurora views. We stayed in the Log House which was clean, comfortable and contained all necessities. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus after outings in -30 degree temps. Kory, Debbie and all of the staff treated us like family (in a good way, lol). It is clearly evident they care about their guests and do everything in their power to help them enjoy their stay. While trying to find somewhere to stay in Fairbanks, we discovered this place and made a reservation, and stayed in the main lodge, Let me add it feels way off the beaten path, you have to drive down a dirt road and follow it about a mile back into the woods.. But they do a great job with signs making sure you find them. we had a great view overlooking the pond and points south, two chairs already setup for viewing, we never turned the tv on, we would sit and watch for wildlife out the big windows.. unfortunately, the wildli... read more
Super schöne Lage mit Blick über das Tal zu den Bergen. Sogar den Denali haben wir an einem Morgen in seiner Pracht trotz der Entfernung sehen können. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Eine kleine Anmerkung hätten wir noch: die Frühstückszeit etwas zu erweitern… Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft mit Ruhe, inmitten von Grün und abseits der Stadt. Sehr zu empfehlen!
