I truthfully do not know what the other reviews are referring to, but I have been in multiple weddings (at least 6), including my own, and Patti has done all of my alterations. I have been totally impressed with the service from everyone at A Storybook Ending, including Patti. She even altered my bridesmaid dress when I was 7 months pregnant to look exactly like all of the other dresses. I will continue to go back there as long as I need to, and I will refer anyone who asks!!

When I went to have my dress altered by Patti, she took me downstairs to her room. She did not listen to me about where I wanted the dress placed on my body. She placed my strapless dress much lower than I am comfortable with, even with me tell her it is too low. She then told me this is where your boobs are, so that's where the dress goes. After going to my final fitting where the dress was too tight, too low and crooked across the top (i had not gained any weight, possibly lost a pound or two). We had a disappointing experience on our trip to Dewitt. We were rudely greeted, TOLD to remove our shoes, and fill out a notecard (with no explanation as to its purpose). I had written several e-mails, asking about certain dresses and did get fairly quick responses. But there was no where to sit to remove my boots and the entrance was cluttered with 30 pairs of shoes.
