I contacted this company to inform them of a mistake that was during an install that was completed on our new build 5 years ago. The float switch on both units was wired incorrectly which caused an overflow of water and flooding from one unit. His response to me was that they can't believe what the report from another company shows because the other company's "like to bash other ac companies". 25 month old unit having problems I have a 25 month old unit that is having problems with heating. The warranty is 24 months. I have to pay $75 for them to come look at it which is not credited toward any work done, plus the cost of anything to fix it.This is a upgraded carrier unit. They were not concerened with the heating problem and only seemed to want to get more money out of me. The only thing they talked about was charges and how I would pay. Not with any other issue. I would look else where when purchasing a unit!!!

If you call you get a phone service. Service caller said phones were down and does not know when I could receive a call back. Have a service agreement contract with A Stepping Stone since 2017 and the service tech was here on Monday and said the AC has a leak and losing freon and needs a new veap coil but it could take up to two weeks to get the part. It has been get up to 98 degrees in my house and does not cool down at night. Can't rent a hotel room because I have to pay to get the AC working, You can't even talk to the of... read more

We have had a service contract with this A Stepping Stone for 10 years and even had them install a new unit in our previous home. Our AC stopped working on Wednesday morning, but they couldn't send anyone out until Thursday. That was not alarming given the record heat and typically AC companies are busy this time of year. The tech came out and diagnosed the problem, but left prior to providing a quote to fix it because he didn't have the part on the truck. He said someone would call me. I had a Main/Service Agreement with this company. I called for a service because my overhead A/C unit was dripping water. A Stepping Stone just performed a routine service call less than 3 months, prior. They removed a great deal of sludge from the outdoor condensate line. A few days later, more dripping. I called for a f/u service call. The Technician (Dean) shows up and makes some 'adjustments' and re-aligns our drip pan so it flows towards the drain line. My experience with A Stepping Stone came with the top customer service and overall excellent results! My wife and I have two young children and our AC went out late one evening. I called A Stepping Stone and they had someone out there exactly at the time they said someone would be. They had a highly rated and affordable part in stock and my AC unit was back up and running right away.
