The best surgeon in NSW! I saw Dr Ali Ghahreman for a second opinion on my Spinal injury due to a car accident as well as a failed micro discectomy. I was living with chronic pain for over a year, walking with a limp and being palmed off by my original surgeon to pain management specialist to be medicated rather than to investigate. Was referred to him as my GP suspected that I had sciatica which, for over six months, had not responded to treatment . Dr Ghahreman luckily suspected the problem was actually originating from my knee and sent me for both an MRI of my knee and lower spine. No-one had suggested the problem was attributable directly to the knee before. He also prescribed a particular sleeping tablet to calm me before the MRI which worked wonders.
