Really disappointing experience. I was referred to this doctor about 3 years ago. I was initially told to have a colonoscopy would be about 3-6 month wait. It turned out to be a 2 year wait instead. Each time I called, I spoke to the doctors nurses who would say “drink benefiber”, “use a stool when going toilet”, “the wait is roughly another *** months” etc etc. I did all this although I had fissures and haemorrhoids that wouldn’t go away. I’ve had on going fissures for over 3 years now from the birth of my son. When I tell you I’ve been in excruciating pain for 3 years, that doesn’t even touch the surface. I’ve landed in the emergency room twice. I’ve done everything dr Kim has asked of me. The pain is so severe I cry everyday and I can’t even walk properly. It honestly is destroying my life. Every time I call to speak to dr Kim’s nurses, they either don’t answer, or don’t call me back. And when they do call me back, they are incredibly rude and lack empathy.... read more

Professor Kim I highly recommend Dr Kim she is absolutely amazing, not only as a surgeon, but also takes time to listen to you and is compassionate, and highly knowledgeable in her field. After having a bad experience with my local gastroenterologist. I had been suffering with Diverticulitis for a number of years then I had another flare up which lasted 6 months and was extremely sick. The best surgeon and Dr I have ever met and in Australia. I had issue for 15 years with pain, no other Dr would listen. Dr Kim did a number of test and found the problem. I had an anterior resection and fix adhesions. From the moment I woke up I was pain free it was like a miracle. Thank you so much Dr Kim-Chi Phan-Thein. Would highly recommend
