I would rate this company at a zero if I could. It is one thing to have poor customer service or spotty workmanship, but this company is actually corrupt and criminal. I completely agree with all of the other reviews here. Ted Garcia is outrageously dishonest. He lies about issues that are not present and price gouges his customers. I made a terrible mistake by calling him for what turned out to be an electrical breaker issue. However Garcia, being the only A/C repairmen taking after hours calls, was the one I called. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would rate this company a zero if I could, but I'm forced to give them one star. One of our units was blowing warm air so we called Mr. Garcia to come out. When he arrived he didn't even introduce himself to my husband, just complained he had driven from Bush Airport (we live in Pearland). My husband had to ASK HIM his name. This should've been clue #1. DO NOT USE!! Please research A Pro Air / Mateo Antonio Garcia through the on-line Harris County (case #1091636, 747782-00) and Brazoria County (case #87565-CV) clerks office for lawsuits before you call him. Read reviews on the BBB about him also. The man is a crook!!! He will tell you your A/C is broken and you need a new one when you really don't. He won't even be able to tell you what's broken on your system. A professional would be able to discuss what's broken on your unit.
STAY AWAY, this guy shows up and uses scare tactics to get you to shell out $$$ for a simple capacitor change. I researched the capacitors and they can be found on amazon for $20. My total bill was $900. he told me that my Freon was the "old" style and it was illegal to use, so he had to switch to the newer legal chemical Freon. When I complained about the prices, he said the company set those prices and he cant change them, however..... I FOUND OUT HE WAS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY.
