Donny is a meticulous painter who takes a great deal of pride in his craft (no pun intended here). From prep, to masking, to painting he works hard to make his projects as perfect as possible. He's got years of experience in Tahoe and knows what kind of work it takes to paint a house right. I hired him almost two years ago to paint the exterior of my home and it still looks fresh after two winters.
Donny did an absolutely AMAZING job. I've submitted Before/During/After photos. Highly recommend Donny & "A Pride in Paint" who is a true craftsman!
owner told us 2 1/2 month ago hed do the staining of our house. We relied on that. 2 days ago he called that "his heart is not in it". Left us hanging with only a short time before winter hits. Ill never ask him for any jobs done.
This paint job was not properly prepped, or primed, and failed within six months. He came back and spot repaired failed areas, but those have already began to fail again. He cut every corner. Disaster.
The name, "A Pride in Paint," says it all. The owner, Donny, takes pride in his work and it shows. Donny recently painted our entire home in South Lake Tahoe, garage doors, etc. Donny completed the job in a timely manner, with the utmost professionalism, and for the most reasonable rate out of any other painters that I obtained bids from in this area [who have similarly high reviews]. In short, if you need any type of painting [interior or exterior] to be done at your home give Donny a call; you wont regret it.
