I have been to DL Loft for a few photoshoots, dinner parties, and social events. The beautiful open space is amazing, gorgeous wooden floors and chandeliers transport you to a different time and place. Super clean, Debi and her staff have always been extremely accommodating to work with. I've booked the space for photoshoots and plan to host a party there someday soon in the future. Highly recommend checking out what I believe to be one of the best hidden gems in Chicago.
Far from "A Perfect Event" – If I could give 0 stars, I would! I have never written a review for anything in my entire life, but as an EXTREMELY disappointed bride-to-be, I had to warn future Chicago brides to STAY AWAY! My Monthly Event Planner – I use this place at lest 3 times a month. they Know what they are doing and they do it RIGHT. Debi Lily is a perfectionist in every since of the word and will not settle for less. It is no wonder Oprah has named her as one of her favorite event planners. When I work with A Perfect Event, I know I am going to get a good night sleep without having to toss and turn wondering if it going to get done. Consistently friendly, professional, innovative – I helped plan the wedding for my sister and her fiancé who live out of state in May 2010. My sister chose a wonderful venue, but it only offered a large loft space. The 5-Star Reviews on here are all from Shills – CitySearch (or any discerning consumer of this service), please take a hard look at the 5-star reviews for this service A Perfect Event. They all read like the are from shills. Its not right that the legitimate reviews are being drowned out by those.

Do not use Debi Lilly's services! – I would never recommend Debi Lilly and this company. I have used her services and was completely ripped off. She did a couple weeks worth of services for my wedding and then stole our deposit of $3,500! When I tried to get our deposit balance back, she completely ignored me and will not return my multiple emails. She even hung up on my mother-in-law when she called her to get our money back. what a fraudulent company – I've had Debi Lilly from A Perfect Event do a party for me and was very disappointed. I should have noticed right from the start: every time I got an email from her, the "signature" was updated with some new "award" or something. The woman is just too vain and celebrity-obsessed to provide the rest of us with good service. She ended up cheating me out of some materials and money.
