Ashley is my “therapy lady,” and I’m so grateful for her. She’s incredibly professional, approachable, and always provides a safe space. As a Black woman and mom in America, not much feels safe these days — life gets heavy sometimes. But Ashley holds space for me to think, feel, and communicate freely. I truly feel like she’s on my side and invested in my growth. I’m so glad I have her!
As a Black man, having a Black woman therapist who understands me culturally has been powerful. She keeps me grounded, eases my stress, and offers honest, no-sugarcoating guidance. Even as someone self-aware, her validation and reassurance mean a lot. Her office is also cute and cozy, with helpful resources, fidget toys, and light refreshments that make each session comfortable. Two years in, I’m grateful for such a strong therapeutic relationship.
