The ride overall was great! The guide Charles was awesome! Super personable. We also share the same birthday and are the same age! (Small world) The views from the top are spectacular- I am an avid rider and was in awe of the beauty! I rode a horse named Dakota and was super cute. Only thing I didn’t love it was a in and back on the same trail. Still beautiful views. These horses are athletes climbing this mountain daily!! Good thing they get 6 months off every year- they definitely it! They are all well taken care of.
My wife and I booked the 2.5hr Signature Teton Tour and had an amazing time. It was the first time for my wife to ride on a horse and she felt safe the entire time. It starts off very easy and then you head up the mountain (about 1000ft in elevation). Once you arrive on the top you have an amazing view of the Tetons. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with North Fork Trail Rides. Our guide, Charles, was awesome. He had complete command of the horses and made safety a priority the entire time, while still keeping the ride fun and relaxed. He also shared fascinating information with us along the way, which made the experience that much better. No horsing around when it came to safety but plenty of fun everywhere else. We did the morning ride with our family and absolutely loved it. From start to finish, everything was just perfect. The horses were great, the scenery was incredible, and the whole experience was so peaceful and relaxing. A big thank you to our guide, Charles. He was brilliant, really experienced, easy-going, and made everyone feel completely at ease throughout the ride.I would recommend North Fork Trail Rides to anyone looking for a special way to experience the Tetons. We’ll definitely remember this one.
Best horseback riding experience ever!! We did an all day ride and our guide, Jackuile (sp?) was the greatest! ! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of WY and the area. She took us on a beautiful ride through meadows, creeks, and the mountains it was absolutely amazing! Amazing views and beautiful landscapes. The horses were well cared for and great to ride. I highly recommend this ride and would do it over again in a heartbeat!!!
