Horrible customer service. Calling the better business bureau on them as we speak
AO Smith tankless water heater is a DO NOT BUY! the first one lasted 18 months and then the heat exchanger went bad. After jumping through a lot of hoops, they finally warrantied the unit. The replacement lasted 3.5 years before the heat exchanger started leaking just like the one before it. AO Smith again trying to make us jump through hoops to even consider warranty. What are the hoops? Removing the unit from the wall, taking it all apart and taking pictures of the heat exchange for them to evaluate. So let me get this rig... read more
An old storied company fails. They have one product and it sucks. My warranty expired three weeks ago and the product failed. They basically told me to go eff myself. Don't buy this product.
Do not buy anything from this company. bad product followed by bad support. Had issues with a day old water heater and they wanted me to go through the Rigmarole . Asked to speak to a supervisor who would call you back and not speak and make notes that they called but would never talk when they call you. Worst company I have come across in a long while. Not sure how or why they are still in business. - stars if I could incompetent from ceo level all the way down.
