Worst Customer Service & Complete Warranty Failure! Avoid A. O. Smith! If I could give 0 stars, I would. We installed a brand new A. O. Smith tankless water heater (Model THR-199M) in December 2025. It completely failed in less than 6 months, leaving our household with NO HOT WATER—a total living emergency. Their "manufacturer's warranty" is an absolute joke. Terrible customer support, they say to email and to send letter to get in contact with corporate. No response back and the customer service agents are rude and don’t care at all. Ask for a supervisor and they are the supervisor and no other person you can speak to.
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE COMPANY!!!! Their very expensive hybrid water heater crapped out after only two years and I've been getting the run around for months on warranty repair reimbursement . RUN RUN away from this scam company as fast as you can.
