If you want to be judged an alcoholic and do the maximum amount of treatment available, then this is the place for you. I was literally told that I was an alcoholic before we even began speaking, I mean when she just looked at my information and saw that I was white/American Indian she said and, I quote, "oh you're Native? You're definitely an alcoholic, I could probably put vodka in a bowl and lead you around the room like a dog!" but she said no offense after the statement so I guess that made it okay in her mind, but the ... read more

Well I had an appointment with these guys today, it's a good thing I came on here and read the reviews. Thanks to Hoyt's review, I decided to give them a call and cancel. I myself am Native American and can relate to his story. It's hard enough being native, then we get the stereotypes off that back, "oh they're natives, so they're DEFINITELY alcoholics." Smh. I have to say the name of the service alone, "A new Spirit Recovery" is a joke ! And can be very misleading. Being native we want services from people who are not goin... read more
