They allowed my cousin made an appointment after they sent communication out to customers that the shop would be closed due to potential COVID exposure. The issue is my cousin did not know of this prior to being allowed to make the appointment. Further, they responded to his grievance stating it was his responsibility to contact them. Well, if he was not aware of the conditions, why would he have contacted them? This was just bad business.

Attempting to get my locs tightened with this business has been the most UNPROFESSIONAL experience I have encountered! I booked an appointment and paid the deposit, only to show up to the location to be told that they were closed. I was not notified of any issues nor was I contacted prior to making a blank trip. I’ve called the shop for the past 3 days to request a refund for the deposit that I made since my appointment was canceled and no one has responded. I recommend BUT with some advice. The NEGATIVES = booked online asked for Tyra but got Dominique. Online quoted one price, I paid nearly double. Was asked to come 30 mins early. I said sure, arrived and then waited in the lobby those 30 mins. Ugh, what was the point? Gabby was my colorist and dye was left all over my ears and some across forehead even after styling. I have started my Sisterlock journey and I am so very happy with my decision to have them done at “A Natural Affair Beauty Lounge”. The staff was so welcoming and professional. I was very impressed! My process from start to finish was AMAZING!!! I would recommend this shop to anyone that I know that is looking to get their natural hair styled. They do it all! You won’t be disappointed!
I absolutely love this beauty salon! Before now I could never find a stylist I wanted to stick with. Lammy is great with teaching. Koco does a great job with my hair. Today she washed, blow-dryed, trim, and crocheted my hair in only 2 hours! I can’t stop looking in the mirror! I 100% recommend this salon!
I’ve been going for a few months now to get my dreads retwisted. The name of the stylist that takes care of me is Lammy. She is fantastic and I would highly recommend her to anyone. They do a great job here.
