I love their personalities. For me they portray likability. However, they've been wrong several times with my jewels. They told me my fresh water pearls were plastic. They told me that my Tahitian black pearls were hematite. They told me my ruby was synthetic. They were wrong in all 3 cases. While I probably won't use them to authenticate; I will use them for scrap gold from time to time. I know what I have before I go.
