I called on June 19, 2025 to make an appointment to remove a cracked crown and a broken tooth which was covered over the crown. I explained that I couldn’t put pressure on the tooth without experiencing significant pain . I was given 2 choices; the end of July in Danbury or the end of August in Carmel. I replied that I couldn’t wait 5 weeks for one or 9 weeks for the other. I was basically told ‘take it or leave it”. I left it and called another oral surgeon and received an appointment in 6 days. The worst experience of my life. Dr. Cuomo did not finish my surgery AND I woke up during the procedure. It was very unclear whether this was his fault or simply my tolerance to anesthesia, nonetheless my experience was traumatic. He is extremely rude and dismissive and the nurses were not much better. My healing process did go well, but I have to have a second extraction surgery now. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone, especially a younger adolescent or child.
Cuomo needs to quit. Worst experience in a dental office in my life. Excruciating needle and he knew I wasn't numb and didn't let up. He wanted me out. He acts as if he hates you the second you walk in. No bedside manner, and your dental fears will skyrocket when you meet him. His loathing for his profession is a disgrace. Danbury office. This doctor is very rude for no reason. Like excuse me sir I am giving your office thousands of dollars can you at least pretend to be nice? Who hurt you? This doctors approach to people needs to be reassessed. He needs to realize having a good personality actually gains you loyalty and referrals.
Just extremely competent and professional. The quality of work is top notch and Dr Cuomo takes the time to walk you through your procedure and follows up once he’s done.
