I usually go to the Sykesville store, but it was too gorgeous out not to walk Ellicott City's main street today. I went into The Marketplace and got some amazing deals!!! I treated myself (because, well it is my bday! Haha) to some beautiful goodies!! I love the pieces that made it through the flood...so cool! I am excited to wear my new pieces!!
Just bought 2 very nice "Gingersnap" bracelets there. Loved the Sykesville store. Will definitely go back.
Met Amie at the craft show is OC. She was very helpful and very sweet. Wish more business owners were like her. We will visit her location in Ellicott City.

Owners Amie and Chris are wonderful!!!!! What a fantastic addition to Ellicott city's main street!!! Thursday I took my nieces 10 and 14) into the store for the first time and they were overwhelmed with all of the beautiful jewelry and other items that A' la Mode has to offer!!! If you're looking for a special present, not something cranked out for a department store, this is the place to go !!! such unique and wonderful gifts!!!! I can't wait to go back!!!!

Ala Mode Boutique is an amazing shop on Main St., Sykesville. The have a wide variety of goodies from jewelry to scarves and lotions...wallets and purses, too. I bought a lovely poncho and necklace that I get lots of compliments when I wear them. Great ideas for the perfect gift. Owner Chris recently supported the ladies tea from my church with a generous door prize. Great shop, great owner! Drop in, you won't be disappointed. L.P.

Awesome store! My first time shopping today I had the pleasure to chat with the owner Amie. She was so helpful in assisting me on the perfect gift for my best friends birthday. She boxed my gifts and put them in a cute little bag so they are ready to gift. Excellent customer service and high quality merchandise. I will defiantly be back in to shop!
