The entire team of doctors, nurses, and specialists at Nemours Children’s Hospital were kind, compassionate, and thorough. We had a very difficult pregnancy and the level of compassion and care we received from Dr. Burgh, Dr. Srivastava, Dr. Nelson and their teams was exceptional. You hope to not be in a situation where your baby needs expert care, but if you do these are doctors I trust.
Their staff in the ER are one of the best and I would give them five stars; but if your child is admitted for extended care, my advice to parents or guardians is, PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR CHILD! Even if you have to do it in shifts with other family members helping to watch over your child. The security on their floors is lacking for a children's hospital. I took my daughter to this hospital on Friday their who was having some kind of episode and who has asthma and was having trouble breathing we spend 4 hours in the waiting room instead of them seeing her. They said that their is more trauma then my daughter.
