I will tell vou a story that happen today! I took my son there for his first appointment after aging out of highpoint Pediatrics. Appt is at 10. Get there at 9:45 bc they wanted me to fill out papers since he was a new patient. At 10:23 they hand us the paperwork to fill out. Takes less than 5 min. We wait some more.....people in afterbusbhave come and gone. At 10:51 K ask when he's getting in. We'll they forgot about us, despite us being in full view of them. Said it would just be a min. Absolutely unacceptable. I had a 9:00 AM appointment, arrived on time, and the office was completely closed. No phone call, no text, no email, and no voicemail to let me know the appointment had been canceled. My time was completely wasted because of their lack of professionalism and basic communication. If this is how they treat patients, I would think twice before scheduling an appointment here. Do better.

My son is not only special needs, but he is also a Cancer patient. He does have a fear of the Dentist and the tools that are used, but Dr. Shaw (once he was made aware of this) was so patient and calm with him and he totally put my son at ease, which is sometimes challenging when my son meets a physician for the first time. He and my son talked, and he explained everything that he was doing, as well as let him see the tools before he used them.
