Worst management company! Do not rent from them. They don't respond if you have an issue and there have been plenty!
The lawns are not being maintained causing a well-documented vermin (mouse) infestation. The buildings are not being cleaned. The elevator in our building has been out of service for 3 weeks with no sign of planned repairs. A&E is extremely negligent to all of their properties (remember the lawsuit from tenants at that Queens property after the fire? Look it up). And now, apparently, they are not paying the Con Ed bill. There’s a reason (multiple reasons actually) why this company has hundreds of 1 star ratings. Stayed at 135 W which is managed by A&E and it was such an awful experience. Just stay away
We have had a leak in our bathroom ceiling for almost 2 months and A&E has done essentially nothing to correct the problem. We also have mice coming in from behind our dishwasher and the super refuses to correctly seal up the holes. They also refuse to provide us a copy of our lease. Terrible, unprofessional, and incompetent property managers.
If you are a current tenant in any Stonehenge or A&E Real Estate-managed property in New York City, I urge you to contact me. I am actively reaching out to tenant rights attorneys and advocacy organizations to explore the formation of a tenants association and the potential for a class action lawsuit.
