Was referred here for a cervical screening and to talk about HRT. The receptionist started arguing with me over the phone about Pap smear vs cervical screening (2 different tests done the same way) and the fact that my referral said Pap smear not cervical screening and said I was not allowed to ask about anything else unless the referral specifically mentioned it. I have never experienced such a lack of compassion at a care facility for a senior woman. My mother is 76 and she missed an appointment due to being severely sick. Due to an appointment being missed, she is now no longer a patient. It is extremely hard to find a reputable gynaecologist in the city with openings. I’m writing this to express serious concern and frustration about the care my partner received from Dr. PierDomenico, who was the urologist on call during our recent ER visit. My partner was experiencing severe pain due to a kidney stone, and the ER doctor administered hydromorphone, which helped stabilize his pain. His blood work clearly indicated an infection, and his blood pressure remained elevated due to the intensity of his discomfort. Dr. Di Pierdenico is such a fun gynocologist, pap smear's are never comfortable and he made me laugh through the whole experience. Just talking away my feelings of ackward embarrassment with his dry humor. If I need a Dr to check my reproductive parts I rather he show me a good time. See you in 3 years.
