What vet refuses to see an established patient with a potential emergency. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable.
RecommendedMy sweet old beagle started his HW treatment today and the staff were so, so kind and sweet. I have five dogs and two cats and I’ve been a customer of ACV for years! I absolutely adore them. They’re the cheapest on price you’ll find in Wilmington, and they’re the best. The doctors and staff are so knowledgeable and genuinely cares for each and every baby that comes through the door. A Country Vet all the way!!
Thank you for sending my sick dog and I away today, after being a client and patient for 5+ years because we were able to find a much better veterinarian. The level of customer service and help was just unbelievably low and terrible business practices. So I am thankful to have been forced to go somewhere else, silver lining!
I highly recommend this veterinary practice. Caring and cost conscience, the staff and Veterinarian pour their hearts into caring for your animals. I have been a client with my many dogs since shortly after the practice opened. They have always taken good care of our dogs even ones with difficult medical issues and have referred us out when we needed that. We have been coming here for EIGHT YEARS. We have 4 dogs that frequent here and see Dr. Wilson. The level of care and compassion that he has for the animals and clients that come in is outstanding. He will stay all day and answer questions and doesn’t perform any unnecessary procedures. We love going in to see him and our dogs love him too. If you want flexibility, kindness, and a friendly staff, this is the place to go!

when there is an issue with treatment/medication being ineffective? Their answer: we can refer you somewhere else. Current complaints have been filed with NC Veterinary Commission and the Royal Veterinary Surgeon's Alliance. Instead of reparations, they withdraw accountability and attempt to silence.
I also want to give a huge thank you and virtual hug to the staff at A Country Vet Clinic. You have always taken great care of our fur babies and now have helped me walk 2 of them to the rainbow bridge. Your kindness and compassion is greatly appreciated!
They have been wonderful to my Dog, and so far I have been very pleased with the service that I have gotten.
